     Forbes Hounds is located in Wildwood, Florida which intersects with I-75 and the Florida Turnpike. We are a small kennel ... a kennel in name only, as our dogs are an essential part of our lives as our "fur children". We currently have 7 Borzoi, 3 Ibizan Hounds and 1 Sassy, Standard Schnauzer. 

     I grew up in the 1970’s going to Dog Shows due to my parents being Professional Dog Handlers and raising Miniature Schnauzers. After completing College on a Basketball Scholarship I acquired my first long awaited Borzoi. He later became CH. Oaklara’s Tamron’s Tabu, FCH. I met Tony and we got married in 1993. Our goals are to take the many years of past knowledge and continue learning all that we can. We endeavor to own only the best bloodlines. Currently, we are not breeding any dogs but we may be able to refer you to creditable breeders that may meet your needs.

     Dog Clubs we belong to: Borzoi Club of America, Ibizan Hound Club of the United States, Standard Schnauzer Club of America, Heart of Florida Borzoi Club, Borzoi Club of Greater Atlanta, Greater Ocala-Gainesville Lure Coursing Ass., Apalachee Coursing Club, Sunshine State Coursing Club of Central Florida.  Tony and I support All Breed Rescues and would like to say "thank you" to all that do.
